These courses encourage postgraduate students to apply their
existing skills to environmental problems and issues and to
develop new skills and modes of thought. Recognition is accorded
to environmental problems as human problems, adding a further
dimension to the emphasis on integrating contributions for
the physical, biological, social sciences and humanities.
This approach explicitly recognises and accounts for political
realities and human value systems.
Students are welcome from all disciplines. Entry requirements
are a bachelor degree or equivalent from any discipline at
credit level or better. Admission forms are available from

Administration
The Graduate Diploma (Honours) comprises two 25% coursework
units selected from:
KGA514 Sustainable Environmental Management
KGA515 Environmental Values
KGA516 Ecosystem Conservation
KGA517
Protected Area Management
plus a 50% thesis.
The Graduate Diploma (Honours) can be completed in one year
full-time or two years part-time.
The Master of Applied Science comprises 150% coursework units.
